I am saying this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you. I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.

the drug war is a distraction(diversion of a distractionhttp://wikidiff.com/diversion/distraction)…. from polluting the world for profit….

ecocide is a spiritual war… on God… and his creation… us….

the devil uses the distraction(wars)… to hide what is really happening….

humans blame or judge the distraction symptoms…. on each other.. and continue to do what they are doing… etc…

who you blame or judge becomes the “scapegoat”

battling each other… for “reasons” trying not to become the “scapegoat” etc… which distracts them from connection with God… etc…

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?

I am saying this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you. I want you to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as possible.

1 Corinthians 7:35

“‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.

Leviticus 19:15

“‘Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling block in front of the blind, but fear your God. I am the LORD.

Leviticus 19:14

“‘Do not defraud or rob your neighbor. “‘Do not hold back the wages of a hired worker overnight.

Leviticus 19:13

Mark 4:19 but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced.

Luke 8:7 Other seed fell among thorns that grew up with it and choked out the tender plants.

1 Corinthians 10:13  No temptation has overtaken you that is unusual for human beings. But God is faithful, and he will not allow you to be tempted beyond your strength. Instead, along with the temptation he will also provide a way out, so that you may be able to endure it.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

what happens to the enormous profits of the illegal drug trade, following a trail directly into the offices of otherwise respectable businessmen… people who would say no to drugs, but very willingly say yes to drug money. It is the untold story of how the whole American economy profits from illegal drugs.

US Banks Love Real Dollars, and Illegal Drug Money Comes in Cash

The United States regularly sponsors the spraying of large amounts of herbicides such as glyphosate over the jungles of Central and South America as part of its drug eradication programs. Environmental consequences resulting from aerial fumigation have been criticized as detrimental to some of the world’s most fragile ecosystems;[102] the same aerial fumigation practices are further credited with causing health problems in local populations.[103]

Why would the cops go to so much trouble to frame foreign criminals and addicts? They get to keep the money they confiscate in the busts.

An environmental disaster is a disaster to the natural environment due to human activity,[1] which distinguishes it from the concept of a natural disaster. It is also distinct from intentional acts of war such as nuclear bombings.

In this case, the impact of humans’ alteration of the ecosystem has led to widespread and/or long-lasting consequences.[2] It can include the deaths of animals (including humans) and plants, or severe disruption of human life, possibly requiring migration.[3]

As we consider this device of our adversary, let us conclude by being admonished that distractionsare just that: distractions – not our primary goal. Seek God first and seek Him always, and the distractions will disappear and fade behind us as we move ever closer to our ultimate goal of eternal life in heaven.

Don’t let our enemy deceive us into thinking these things are important, or that spiritual matters are insignificant; recognize that your soul and the souls of others are of the utmost importance – and then so live to demonstrate you truly believe that. Don’t believe these distractions are minor issues, either, for distraction leads to destruction.

The periods of fetal and child development arguably represent the stages of greatest vulnerability to the dual impacts of fossil fuel combustion: the multiple toxic effects of emitted pollutants (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, particles, sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, metals) and the broad health impacts of global climate change attributable in large part to carbon dioxide released by fossil fuel burning.

A scorched earth policy is a military strategy that involves destroying anything that might be useful to the enemy while advancing through or withdrawing from an area. Specifically, all of the assets that are used or can be used by the enemy are targeted, such as food sources, transportation, communications, industrial resources, and even the people[citation needed] in the area.

bioessays scientific community knows that dispersed oil is more
toxic then not dispersed oil and it knows that
dispersants and dispersed oil are more toxic than
oil alone so what this chemical
effectively does for the oil industry is it takes care of the Public Relation
nightmare which is oil all over the house surface of the ocean
and pushes the oil instead down into the water column
at least the school seems to have been achieved the public started to ignore
the hidden oil
and children romp on the shore again most environmental laws in the US are
lax compared to those in Europe

Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Those average breathing rates are for when you’re at rest. When youexercise — or even walk around the house or school — your breathingrate goes up. It’s quite possible you might breathe 50,000 times or more per day if you’re active!

For example, newborn babies often breathe 30-60 times per minute. Toddlers might breathe 20-30 times per minute. Older children and adults, when resting, usually breathe about 12-20 times per minute. Over the course of a day, that adds up to 17,000-30,000 breaths per day — or more!

“Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, to the oppressing city. She has not obeyed His voice” (Zephaniah 3:1,2a NKJV).

The above scripture is a strong word, given to a people who are described as a shameless nation. In this article, this word will serve to illustrate for us on a local level how we must guard against contaminating our spiritual lives. Christians are not exempt from the worldly influences that are all around us. We are to live in the world, but we are not of it. We are not to become spiritual garbage dumpsters. We are to sow to the spirit and not the flesh. It is imperative that we clean up our act so to speak. In the midst of the carnality and sin around us we are to live lives of purity. We need to become indignant about the incest, drug and sexual abuse, atrocities committed against the children of our communities, and the pollution of our government – yes, even here in the capitol region. Notice the four distinct causes of the spiritual pollution that is invading even in the lives of Christians in the here and now.

She obeyed not the voice; she received not correction; she trusted not in the Lord; she drew not near to her God (Zephaniah 3:2 NKJV). The causes of a deterioration of a locality could not be more clearly defined than in this scripture. As we seek spiritual renewal in our churches, home groups, and individual lives, we would do well to heed this admonition by considering each statement. Let the thoughts below provoke you to deeper study.

1. She has not obeyed His voice. The first proposition is that God has a voice. When we are born of the Spirit, His voice walks up and down inside of us. We need to train our ears to hear Him speaking within us. The most common ways:

  • God speaks through His Word. We must spend time in His Word to hear.
  • He speaks through an inner witness, or a still small voice within.
  • God’s voice comes through providential circumstances.
  • We can hear through prophecy, corporately and personally.
  • The five-fold ministry is used to speak to us.

2. She has not received correction. God has been challenging us with His Word, by His Spirit, and through many circumstances. If we do not rightly respond to God’s love and mercy, we may find serious consequences. Jesus pours out His grace to meet us; but to the scribes and Pharisees, He said, “Woe unto you.”

3. She has not trusted in the Lord. To trust means to place confidence in, rely on, or to commit, or to hope or expect confidently. For example:

  • Assured reliance on another’s integrity, justice, confidence, etc.
  • Assured anticipation; confident hope.

4. She has not drawn near to her God. Only two of the seven churches of Revelation seemed to pass the test. How many local churches today would measure up to God’s standard? Does the Lord look at us and say, “She has not drawn near to her God”?

  • Smyrna – Don’t be afraid of what you are about to suffer.
  • Philadelphia – Hold on to what you have.

There are a number of scriptures that make reference to drawing near to God. Here are a few:

(1) Psalm 73:23 – It is good for me

(2) Isaiah 29:13 – Lip service only

(3) Hebrews 10:22 – with a true heart

(4) Song of Solomon 1:4 – Draw me

(5) James 4:8 – Come near to God and He will come near to you

The Holy Spirit draws us. If we do not draw near, then what? Spiritual pollution waits at the gate to sneak in. These are the challenges. What is our response?

The four conditions above will be the causes for the spiritual downslide. God reaches out to His Church (the body of Christ) today, in every place. He brings a word of correction so that we will rise up in His strength and shake ourselves; and do something about any spiritual lethargy. Have we left our first love?

Lord, discipline our ears to hear You clearly.

That’s what Christianity is about.

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.

Matthew 5:44

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked.

Luke 6:35

Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

You must be compassionate, just as your Father is compassionate.

Luke 6:36

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion– to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. Isaiah 61:3
